Ericka Moten is an executive leader, small business owner, philanthropist and leadership coach with more than 25 years of operational and strategic planning experience. Wearing a myriad of hats, Ericka serves as Executive Director for the United States Department of State and Co-Founder & President of Fore! The Culture, a golf literacy and apparel organization dedicated to introducing the game to underrepresented communities. 

As a federal government executive, Ericka has demonstrated the ability to identify enterprise gaps and implement solutions for current and future needs of multiple constituent groups. During her career, Ericka has transformed organizations by increasing budgets and personnel, creating policies to facilitate productivity and efficiency and leading change management initiatives. Ericka has served as a thought partner and trusted confidant to several United States Ambassadors in the Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons. She has led multiple reorganizations to support the Secretary of State’s priorities, and championed cutting edge technology to support data-informed decision making. 

As Co-Founder & President of Fore! The Culture, Ericka has been instrumental in leading literacy programming for African-American youth across the Washington Metropolitan region, specializing in spearheading partnerships and creating character building experiences for youth and their families in Prince George’s County Maryland.

A certified leadership coach, at the associate level, Ericka specializes in helping emerging and executive leaders set and achieve their professional goals. Her unique and results driven approach challenges their career perspectives ultimately helping them reach their maximum potential. Her clients come from diverse backgrounds ranging from law, politics, sports, media and academia.  

Ericka is a proud graduate of Howard University, where she majored in Business, holds a certificate in Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance from American University, and is a certified associate coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

 A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, and Treasurer for Women in Sports and Events, Ericka resides in Prince George’s County Maryland with her husband of 16 years and two amazing sons.

In her spare time, find her on the golf course supporting her oldest son, Christian, an Under Armour World Champion youth golfer or at football cheering on her son Channing.
